The new Mercedes-Benz E350 models come with a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine. This year, the engine is paired with a 23-horsepower electric motor. The two combine for 255-horsepower and n273 pounds-feet of torque, making every trip engaging and commanding. If you choose the new E450 model, you get a stronger performance. E450 models pair a 2.0-liter turbocharged six-cylinder engine that's also paired with an electric motor to produce 375-horsepower.
The hybrid systems not only increase output, they also limit turbo lag and make the operation of the automatic engine start/stop system smoother, meaning you'll barely feel the engine turn off and ignite again. Both engines are paired with a smooth and responsive 9-speed automatic transmission, that also features paddle shifters, letting you enjoy quick and calm shifting automatically or take more control by shifting between simulated gears yourself.
Rear-wheel drive comes standard, giving the new E-Class lineup a classic sports car feel whether you're cruising around the city, on the highway, or on the open road.
